IBC is almost upon us! And something we're really keen
to see in action is the stereoscopic virtual studio from Orad,
which will be demoed in booth 7.B27.
Orad's virtual studio chromakeys and renders virtual graphics in
realtime as part of your stereoscopic production. Left- and
right-eye signals are fed into a single HDVG rendering platform,
which then syncs the two streams into a single signal. Operators
can then change the degree of eye separation and point of
convergence as needed.
Virtual studios can be tricky things, and it'll be interesting to
see how Orad's system handles shading and reflection mapping in
realtime. We'll definitely be heading over to take a look (not
least because we're practically neighbours - we'll be in booth
7.B25, demoing DaVinci Resolve for Linux, which incidentally also
handles 3D in realtime).
You can find out more about DaVinci Resolve here. To find out more about what
we'll be up to at IBC, give us a call on 03332 400 222 or email stereo@Jigsaw24.com.
